naa couldnt be bothered, too tired, and i had put battery on charge, as it has been on the car 7 months with no use :)

that it, i'm a dumbass, it was the negative not connected to the engine. what an ass.

gonna connect it tomorrow when there is some light. hopefully it will start :)

now i can out the dash back in, and try to sort out the starter motor :)

nope, one is for the trailer tell tail, follow the pcb on the dash back and match it with the loom :thumbs:

no, its not clicking. :( its getting dark now anyways. so i will leave it till tomorrow. just been wireing up the digi dash.

just a bit stuck. i have done all the wires exept the black ones. there are 3 from the origional loom, and 4 from the digi dash. do i just solder them all together?

id check the earth. is the starter clicking? if so thats the solenoid.

I'd check the red/black which goes on the back of the startmotor, it should be gettign current.

go throgh all the wires again mate, you've probably missed an earth connection or somthing

yesh check power to the starter or put a battery accross the terminals on the starter.

yeah, lights, windows, fuel pump, etc all work, but its not turning over :( and i cant find a feckin light bulb to test with :(

do the other elctrics work in the car with the ignition on? lights, wipers etc?

yep, it not turning over.

BTW the car has no alarm.

the starter motor is a ballache to get to :( i'll see what i can do. ) a light bulb and wires will be ok wont it?

have you tested the starter to see if its gettin power to it?

Alarm problem if its not turning over, check all fuses to be safe though check its wired up ok too

evrything is wired up, etc, i have the immobaliser chip in the key. now, i theory it should start.... but

the fuel pump is running but no starter motor. i wired it up yesterday, and i dont see why it wont work! :(


anyone bored and want to help me out?
