CV joint
CV Boot Split (Dry CV)
Anti Roll bar is loose
Track rod end gone (but can not see it)
i would jack the car and put it on axle stands and play about under it moving the wheel and seeing if you can find the problem
CV removing
- jack car remove wheel
- undo bottom 2 bolts which hold it to Tiebars
- Undo Track rod end
- undo castle nut
- suspension leg should be movablue, push driveshaft and pull suspention leg out, sould come out.
EATHER
- pop shaft from box, line it up straght and pull, but will have to refill gearbox with oil
or
leave shaft in
BUT keeping it in the box will only make your job harder

Don't you just undo the castle nuts, pop the ball joints and remove the problem CV, baring in mind not to remove the inner CV to prevent gearbox oil weeing out everwhere :)
If posible...

Right, the problem got worse & the car is now off the road.
How easy is it to change a cv joint? When I used to work for audi I did afew & other than them being abit messy it was quite straight forward.
How easy is it to do on a C20XE'd corsa though? Also are there any bits I need to watch out for etc.
Any help is appreciated :)

Is it for the blue corsa??? If so then its easier to buy a second hand drive shaft complete with cv joint and just swap them over

I had this problem afew months ago & it seemed to sort itself out. Now the problem is back :|
If I go round a corner (only when turning right) when im in gear I get a clunking noise. If its not in gear there is no clunking. I have only noticed this at low speeds but obviously its harder to hear at higher speeds. The noise is coming from the passenger side
Also
When in gear the steering wheel is twitching quite badly. Again this only happens when its in gear, as I've dipped the clutch whilst driving & the problem disappears. This problem comes & goes also
My 1st thoughts were a knackered driveshaft but I took it to a garage & they said the driveshaft seems fine
Has anyone any ideas?
