LOL 25 mm travel at the rear, so any object/uneven road above 25mm and its aint gonna be doing a lot LOL. Were all the same, ive got about 2" at the rear and about 2.5 - 3" at the front, it copes quite well really considering.

its got a good 1" + of travel at the back and as much as it usesat the front, i dont use big bump stops or anything and it doesnt bottom out, so i dunno if thats the problem..

^ lack of suspension travel ;) You cant have it all-ways matey - looks/performance :)

yes its not the stiffest car i have been in, but u know wati mean on dodgy roads it doesnt grip for shit, spends most of the time bumping about, prob due to it staying so flat and not transfering weight across...

I thought the FK's were a nice comfy ride

That's with an uprated main spring too

Bonus! :)

You say yours is a bit floaty on bumpy roads... you need to sort the springs out! :|

They're all wrong, but do fit. Just clamp em down toit. Toit like a toiger.

simple to fit the new ones cos they all come in 2/3 pieces...

pain in the ass to get the old ones out though....

Yup, refitting is the easy bit - Powerflex ones are all in two halves.

You can't burn the tie bar ones AT ALL... I know because I went across all of my shelves in the garage looking for stuff to burn.
Even a blowtorch just got it hot.
Broster's Dremel was no good either - piece of shit.

Best way to do it is to clamp the bracket in a vice and hammer the rear of the bush cup through to the horseshoe side. Find a lump of metal that you can smack against it and it'll fall out eventually.

Use plenty of WD40 too.

LOL Cheers for that Joff, so I cant just chuck the tie bar bushes on the bonfire for 5 mins... Bummer :(, im gonna do it for the wishbones though. Decided black hammerite as opposed to powder coating cos its prob more corrosion resistant.

I dont run an ARB, they are for pussys... :D (300lb springs m8  )

Can anyone confirm that the tie bar mounts changed after 97? I'd really prefer the Rally Design ones as they are much cheaper and I KNOW they come halved so fitting is a doddle...

Don't listen to Broster (if he posts..) - he wimped out with his tiebar bushes and took them to a garage.

I've got Powerflex and they're fine.
The only ones I've not done are the rears.

For the tie bar bush on 97> Corsa's, get the Powerflex PFF80-204 bush.

Tie bar bushes need hammering out (can't burn them as they're in a cartridge).
Front wishbone needs to be pushed out with a G-clamp (not too bad) and then the ARB are a 5 min job each side.

Just looking at getting some polly bushes for my front wishbones and tie rods.. I know Powerflex do them but ive also seen Polysport which are a fair bit cheaper and also come in halves so makes fitting easy. Problem is that Powerflex list two diffo types of bush for the front Tie rods, as apparently after lotus pisshed around with the geometry back in 97 they decided to fit larger ones in there - is this true?

What you all using then, and any tips on fitting? I was going to burn my old bushes out then take the wishbones/tierods to the strippers/powder coaters and get them done then pop the new ones in (I want halve ones so I dont need a press). Cheers
