LOL 25 mm travel at the rear, so any object/uneven road above 25mm and its aint gonna be doing a lot LOL. Were all the same, ive got about 2" at the rear and about 2.5 - 3" at the front, it copes quite well really considering.

yes its not the stiffest car i have been in, but u know wati mean on dodgy roads it doesnt grip for shit, spends most of the time bumping about, prob due to it staying so flat and not transfering weight across...

Yup, refitting is the easy bit - Powerflex ones are all in two halves.

LOL Cheers for that Joff, so I cant just chuck the tie bar bushes on the bonfire for 5 mins... Bummer :(, im gonna do it for the wishbones though. Decided black hammerite as opposed to powder coating cos its prob more corrosion resistant.

Don't listen to Broster (if he posts..) - he wimped out with his tiebar bushes and took them to a garage.

Just looking at getting some polly bushes for my front wishbones and tie rods.. I know Powerflex do them but ive also seen Polysport which are a fair bit cheaper and also come in halves so makes fitting easy. Problem is that Powerflex list two diffo types of bush for the front Tie rods, as apparently after lotus pisshed around with the geometry back in 97 they decided to fit larger ones in there - is this true? |
