get a bloody scotch pad like the ones u wash dishes with in the kitchen, makesure its wet and just scrub it all off, should come off well easy and leave no noticeable scratches!

you can get electric polishers fairly cheap now, some for about 20 quid. stick some t-cut or meguires scratch-x on it, will help take it off. If not then use the finest wet & dry u can get then polish it like said above :thumbs:

i haven't got a buffer so i'll just have to use a cloth i take it

the stuff we use at work is shit hot 4 that sort of stuff,just rub down wiv 2000 grade really just to make sure then use a compounding paint restoring cream,using a buffer if youve got 1 then apply a good swirl remover to it n restore the original shine:thumbs:

I hope you're not using sand paper. You want to be using 1500 grade, or higher wet and dry paper, it'll leave your paint dull then polish it back up with G3 (or T-Cut)

give the snad paper a try but it isnt no good! just scratches the paint aswell, and i'm doing very lightly! any other suggestions? would a garage have anything that could remove it without removing paint?

T-Cut is an abrasive polish so it isn't covering it up ;)

Scratch it off with ya finger nails ya pussy :lol: - You can rub it off when it's wet too ;)

use some 1500 wet and dry sandpaper very carefully, should get it out and not mess up too much of the laquer if you use your hand lightly

its plastic grey primer from halfords, i oversprayed and it went on the paint on the car and i want it off cos it shouldn't be on there ! i cant beleive i done it!

Just polish it down with an abrasive polish, it'll take a while but will be fine

what type of primer is it? i.e. cellulose or twin pack?
why would you want to take it off?
and what paint is underneath?

maybe white spirit???!!!

what can i use to get primer off a car but wont strip the paint underneath it, i've tried t-cut but it doesn't work well, plus t-cut is only covering it up not removing it!
