the red on the clock should be conected to the black on the corsa the black on the clock should be conected to the brown on the car and the green is the signal for the rev counter

It may not be the right type of interface for the gauge. The green wire is defo the signal input for the tacho in this case, and the red and black are the power wires. White is for sidelights, not sure about orange.

Try running a wire from the negative terminal of the coil

aceman didnt say it had a brown wire. hes saying that black is usally a ignition live instead of an earth

Richie

was gonna say its probably set on the wrong pulse

if it still doesnt work try wiring it to the ground of the coil

Beardy check on the back of the counter itself there is usually a switch to select how many cylinders your car has.

black wire is usually a switchable ignition feed and the brown would be the earth and the green wire from the ecu just routes direct to the clocks

i have checked them both and all they do it supply a differant range of Colours,
ones a switch live (red is so it have perm power to save colour settings) ones a lights on switch live (when you switch you dash lights on it comes on)
this is from what the lad say who had it before me.

I got give a After Market rev count off a Mate
i know for 100% fact it works as i saw it work in his car....

so i have wired it into my Car using the wiring behind the Dash.
when starting the engine to see if the rev counter work, it seams to be reving backward...
Its Idealing at 1000revs and when you rev the car it go's down to 0rpm

Wires are :-
(this is the colours and what i have wired to them)
Red - Live
Black - Earth
Green - The Green on back of Dash (Rev feed)
White - Nothing as looks like its for Dial Colours
Orange - same as above

can anyone help me out?

if it helps its one of the F&F ones
