arent ya always gonna get dirt in yer water lads:boggle: i'd recon once every 6months would be plenty enough for changing coolant and even thats over kill...

im out of cash now so cant afford more antifreeze :(

think the main issues are the heater matrix which doesnt flush proper & also some of the water in the block. was told to get a good flush, remove the thermostat & run water into the engine from there to flush it well

my car could do with a dyno run :( but dont know anywhere or how much I'd be looking at...

I did coolant flush on sunday & flushed it through, but the coolant has gone mirky again - was nice & blue when I did it!

think it just didnt completely flush through as it hadnt been done in absolutely ages by the look of it!

Whats the difference.....

my car has a wee oil leak which means carrying a litre of oil with me at all times.....

now normally in texaco/esso they'll have 10w 40 semi-synthetic and this is what ive been using... the other day i went into a shell garage and they only had 10 w 40 synthetic stuff...... i'm not to sure whether to use it of not...

whats the difference:o:o

engine is a c16xe BTW...
