well 0 gauge is about £6.50 a meter, so that much x how log the 3 wires are, say £30.

not a great deal, best bet is upgrade battery and all the wires from the alternator to batt and earths :D

sod caps mate, it doesnt improve anything as all it does is take some strain away from the battery.

Upgrade the BIG 3 wires (alt - bat, bat - chassis and alt - chassis) and get a bigger alt :)

Once that is in place, then you can move on to a split charge system if it hasnt solved it - although even then, you might need to upgrade the Alt even further to allow for it to charge the second battery.

Once you got it working, THEN you use a cap to smooth it all out and to reduce stress on the batteries etc :)

a 1-2F cap will be fine, something like this:

depending on the power your amp is drawing anything from a 1F cap to a 7F cap, as close as poss to your amplifier.

just switched to a bigger battery - cos the install was draining too much power - but this still hasnt solved the problem.

im also planning to add more to it in the future - so what can i do?

How much am i looking at to put 2nd battery in the boot and have it split off the alternator?

What about power caps etc?

im absolutly hopeless at this stuff!

So any help greatly apppreciated.
