taste the water, you'll know if its coolant or not then

my first car (1.0 metro), had a leaky matrix. thought i'd risk a bottle of radweld first, and it worked a treat. job done in 5mins and £4.

calibra had a soaking carpet, but that was due to poor door/window sealing. frameless doors, so unlikely the same prob in a corsa.

i put a bottle of rad weld in my corsa to try and patch up a hole in my radiator, and it did nothing but leave a gooey mess everywhere, so i'm not such a big fan anymore. possibly worth trying that first i reckon though

If it's the heater matrix then your car will be low on coolent - if it is then you'll need to remove lots of interior parts to access it...

Can anyone help me out?

I just went out to my car (a Corsa B SXi) and the passenger side carpet is literally saoked and is puddling. Now, I can't find any sign of a leak and I am wondering what it might be? Anyone any ideas and if so what can I do about the problem? Could it possibly be the heater matrix that has burst?

The only thing I can say hat I have touched in the car recently is that I had the headunit out to replace the fuse in the back of it the other day, but that is all.

Thanks in advance for any help?

Richard Steven :)
