hmmm.... how much did it cost to get replaced? mine occasionally smells of petrol and fuel just seems to disapere! then again my fuel gauge is fucked! lol

insude, the only thing i can think of is that petorl tank lid where the fuel pump is. that would of worked its way loose but i doubt it. or the sealing ring has dropped insidee

it could be you fuel line may have a hole, has ya car been drinking petrol, and seemed jerky at times? Mine was like this last week, and saturday night started stinking of petrol, ended up having a hole in the fuel line, replaced the pipe and alls fine and dandy.

If its not that then i dont know why :)

My '99 1.2 GLS has started to stink of petrol inside. I've had it to 2 different dealers and 3 independent garages. No-one can find anything wrong with it.
Does anyone out there have the answer?
