hmmm not sure it has it but will check tomorrow. at first i thought it was a vacuum leak coming from the brake master cylinder, but then it came from somewhere else. gonna have another look tomorrow as i swapped him an AFM for a K&N induction cone. that will fit on the ecotec pipe i chavved from a dumped vectra :P

Does the car have airconditioning? If it does then it will be that and is perfectly normal when the engine is switched off - not sure about turned on though...

Mate has just picked up a Vectra SRi 140, engine runs alright, think there is a slight problem with the AFM but am trying to sort that, but when the engine is running and the switched off there is a strange hissing sound, sounds like it is coming from near the head like pressure being released.

any ideas what it could be?
