chain is replaced on 1.0 @ 100k unless its noisey as most are | |

I thought recommendations on timing chain was 100k? but i might be wrong. | |

Nope, timing chains are non servicable items, they self adjust hydraulically and do not need to be replaced as often as a timing belt. *I think*. Somone might prove me wrong though... | |

i 'think' 12v's have timing chains & not belts... so should be ok | |

My corsa is a 1 litre 12valve, its done 50,000 does it need the timing belt changed yet? Also is it a belt on the 12 valve or is it a chain? & if anyone knows the price of the parts? cheers :thumbs: |
