Yup - I run Sabelt 3" WRC harnesses with the aircraft buckle. There's no-way i'd mount them any other way than the above. In the rear I used one of the existing belt bolt holes and then drilled another hole besides (they are 4 point harnesses) and bought the reinforcement plates with tacked-on nuts which you just put on the underside of the car and screw your eye-bolt into - no real need to weld the plates on. I have done the same thing for the lap mounts on the transmission tunnel - under the exhaust shield on the underside of the car.

agree with Tomas - Id feel much safer having it done properly - weld in some 6mm palte either sde - and sink in a mounting eye - it wont budge then

dont like the idea of mounting to the c pillar seatbelt mount

^ exactly for 4 pointers drill hole in back seat shell area - put re-inforcement plate in and use eye bolt - its the best method by far.

i dont like that as its not a tested mounting pint and is questionble weather it can take a crash force

mount them where the rear seat belt goes in the bench

mounting on the rear pillar is not safe @all

if you have a smash from the rear the pillar is gonna move closer to you, leaving too much slack on the harness, so your prob gonna hit the steering wheel...

iv'e mounted mine on the rear seat ones

Three point harnesses can be fitted to the C pillar. Four point harneses need to be fitted to the two seat belt mounting points on the rear bench.

i presume u can, as with 4 points usually one goes to top mount and one to bottom anyway
