well yer not going to get a 140MPH GSI... well this side of spending about 10k on it:)

i have to rev the crap outta mine to get up to the 110-115MPH mark and sure i Very very rarely do them speeds.

the torque i have is great for over taking which is what i want....:)

lol, i am still heading up there some night, just workin like fuk atm. plus the car looks like sht.

will def be next year then anyway, looks like i have a piston problem, gonna cost guts of E300 to get it fixed i think. but the crowd that are gonna do that are looking for test case's for chipping, so might be able to get that done on the cheap, once i find out what the story is.

sib, i assume i would have to get all this brought in? wont be till next year probably, but want to work out how much its gonna cost

i'd say u'd be taking the guts of €700 when u add the cost of shipping.....

i'll give u a go in mine some day so u can see the difference.

car pulls like feck up to 70-80MPH. i'd say i could do a sub 8sec 0-60 but not sure must give it a try........

Depends if its an X or C engine.

X's dont, C's do.

does the inlet bottom manifold have to be changed? mine was cos yer man gave me the old one when he sold me the engine........

You can just get the mantzel box, fit it yourself, and be happy with 20bhp more.

If you want another 7-8 odd horsepower spend the other £500, but its the cost of the powerbox that gives the majority of the power.

Just buying the powerbox is the best bang ber buck.

Gonna hijack th thread for a moment. what does this do, and do i need to upgrade any other parts so as not to damage the engine if i was to get one? i have a 1.6 gsi

That's toooooooo expensive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just buy the Powerbox directly from Mantzel +Mantzel chip (already with a raised rev limiter).
Go to the online shop, you will save a lot of money!!!!!!!!!!1:thumbs:

They are £500ish + £400 for unichip + £100ish for rev change + £250 fitting of the power box

Siberia

think there £400ish from courtney.....

you would really wanna add the cost of a unichip and maybe so arp's and idlers to get the most out of it.....

Siberia

i have one.....

as i said in another thread it came with the engine when i bought it so i dont know what the performance is like without one.

i can vouch that my car pulls like feck to 70-80 MPH......

and i'm still only running on standard managment....
