Sounds like the CTS as Grease monkey said. The ECU takes that signal as gospel, it's £8 well spent.

Coolant temp sensor maybe, only cheap to replace try it

i had the same problem in my car , i changed the air flow meter on mine and now purrs like a kitten :D

I have just fitted a C20xE from an Astra GTE (including loom!), into my Corsa Gsi. The engine runs fine when hot, but on start up when its cold, it tends to miss a lot and the revs are unstable on tick over! The management light stays out so no clues there! I have a superchip fitted and a K&N filter would this have anything to do with the problem? My dad seems to think that it is overfueling? Any ideas?
