the hardest bit is actually getting the wires thru the multi plug. i know some people that have drilled a new hole but thats a very bad idear.

Richie do you think it would be possible for me to install myself as I know a little about cars and my dads a mechanic or do you need lots of special tools and stuff?
Dunno if you or anyone else knows the answer to this question?

fair enough so if i get the remote central locking kit and just dont bother with the boot and just open it with the key twhen i need to then just ring around to see how much installation will be

nah the boot kit will be extra, but that cant be operated via the remote.

Do you know if it contains the boot bit aswell cus im unsure

if you buy the remote kit, you wont need an alarm, but it will go in the bin when you get an alarm.

You wouldnt need to buy the other bits. £38.75 is all in, still contains the 12.50 kit

Or should I just buy the remote central locking kit for £38.75 or would I still need to buy the other bits aswell?

So I could buy the 2 door kit for £12.50 and the boot release kit for £12.95 then all I would have to do is get it fitted? Would it be worth getting an alarm done at the same time as although my car isn't really worth a lot at the mo if I start modding it etc could be better in long run

the kit for a 2 door corsa is £12.50, fitting isnt too hard, jst time consuming. Wiring into the alarm is only 2 wires and that should be done standard as part of an alarm installation anyway.

Try calling Acousticar on 0800 279 2135, they are at Market Harborough, see if they can give you a quote.

If they cant, try Car Electronics LTD on 0116 244 9858

Say that you will supply the central locking kit as they will try and overcharge you on the kit. You can get the kits from http://www.autoeurope.co.uk

My corsa currently has no central locking and I was just wondering how much it would be to get central locking and then remote central locking fitted as part of an alarm or something. I know it will be expensive as when I asked at the Vauxhall garage he said it wouldn't be worth asking them because the price would be too high but he said other places might be cheaper.
Anyone got any sorta estimates on cost?:boggle:
