or end up with 1.33 ohms is it Richie?(not done any of this ice stuff in ages, lol, 3 4ohm coils is about 1.33 ohms, approx?)

what's the calculation again?

Tis gonna be awkward to get the correct impedence. You would need one 2 ohm 15" and two 4 ohm 15's to get a 1ohm load to the appropriate monoblock amplifier

i shall be running 3 15's off 1 amp, is that bad!

I wouldnt advise mixing sub sizes anyway. You are right when it comes to frequencies but its not a huge deal, only when it comes to 8's which you'd want to use as mids. Those R.E ones at £80 are lurrrrrvly

it would have to be 2 amps for that setup, as youd want the different sizes doing different frequencies wudnt u??

well i have done the single decnt sub route and im not liking it much so im thinkng of going for some 'cheaper' subs in larger numbers, might try it can always sell them if i dont like anyhoo...

I cant decide between the 4 cheaper 12's or just getting 2 x JL 10W3V2's and keeping my 12 aswell, thereby having 3 subs..

Im considering going a tad mad, and getting 4 12" SVC 4 ohm subs.

I'd want to wore them to show a 1 ohm load to a mono amp, can i treat each sub the same as a coil on 2 DVC subs, and wire the 2 subs together, then each pair together like you would wiring 2 4ohm DVC subs to 1 ohm??
