calidus, you turn right at the roundabout for windleys for mine you would go straight over towards horncastle and im in the last building on the right hand side.
Its 2 miles from the roundabout just before the national speed limit signs.
Its a garage called AJB motors.

The C16xe doesn't have an EGR so however mentioned that is wrong. I'd suggest the usual ICV and Air Flow meter but there are so many things it coud be. Another possibilty is a hole or split in the air intake pipe.

try looking at the crank angle sensor... i put one of these engines in my car last week and when i took it out for the first time... as sonn as i when over 3000RPM it would bunny hop and kangaroo on me:lol:

a diagnostics check said crank angle sensor so i check it and it was loose.

tighened that up and hey presto.... no more dunny hops.

also if its idling up and down and trys to cut out at traffic lights see if changing the temp sensor will do anything. on my 1.2 8v i had them symtoms and the temp sensor fixed it.....

is the ECU light on?

it has quite a few flat spots,if i keep blippin the throttle at traffic lites it helps the engine to not conk out on me, and when I go to pull off it has a mahoosive flatspot and looks like i nearly stalled it and cant drive n stuff :( sometimes it will kangaroo on me in 2nd or 3rd when trying to accelerate quickly

rite having problems with the car on idling n stuff again, as i had problems before like this after jetwashing it i i fort it wud be same problem- to turn the clock bk, I jet washed the car and it started being a bit dodgy on me(think it was just coincidence) and it kept going flat spotted and poppin n cutting out- i found breather pipe had a kink in and was loose, after that it was fine ran alot beta.

washed it yestday and its doing same again, but the breather pipes ok so was another coincidence i guess.

now i dont know wot to try tho :S would the fuel tank vent valve be playing up or anything like that?

someone said sort the egr out but its a c16xe so I cant can I :boggle:
