get a decent sub and amp, and a set of comps up front amped and it will be a nice setup.

tbh mate, you wack 6x9s in the parcel shelf with a sub in the boot and all the speakers will fight for air and it will sound cack. ONly way to go around it, is either have a massive boot, with smallish sub or wack them in a sealed box.

Personally get a set of coxials and get them amped - eitherway, all your speakers should have a cutoff placed at around 80Hz and below as the sub will fills that in, so 6x9s become abit useless then.
But if you must have 6x9s then like adi said the JLs are alright - heard them in a local ICE shop a few weeks back, as some chav was buying them for his saxo :o

you could try a set of the JL audio ones, i would expect them to be bassy.

yeh they are ok, for 6x9s but as above components are much better if you want sound quality or even a good set of coaxials
