R.E Can be found at CarAudioDirect.co.uk

Been recommended these myself, not the flashest looking but supposedly great sound quality and volume depending on the setup you choose.

get 12W6's.

But theres a place selling Infinity Perfect 12's for £100 each. Think its MCS direct, not 100% but worth a check. These subs are great, and for £100, a bloody bargain! Rated at 300RMS, i used to put a constant 600RMS through each one day in, day out. Caned the bollox off them too, and still going strong when i sold them.

do you think i would get a decent sound and bass from 2 x m501 amps and 2 x 12" jlwo2 (not sure if thats right off the top of my head)
cheers, steve

there not that great, but if u r using a M500 to power each 300w sub u should be ok.

If you were saying an M300 on each id be against it lol, and ya best bet is to go for 2 of the new M501's...

2 x alpine type r 12" subs
2 x m500 alpine amps - one for each sub
set of apline typre r comps up front
1 x alpine MRVT420 2ch amp to power them.
some of the above has already been bought, the rest will be ordered soon.
is it worth having a second set of type r comps at the rear somewhere? or do you think all of the above will be enough?

sounds alright mate, but you might want to use different amps other than alpine - as people have said alot about dimming and there not that great, but ive never owned alpine gear so i cant comment on it myself.

As for comps in the back, i wouldnt really bother personally. But if you are carting people around then you could get a little set of coxials and run them off the HU (just make sure you can set the HU to cut a little of the bass out from the coxials) :)

simple rule:

10" fast bass
12" mid ranged fast and deep (ish)
15" deep bass not for fast stuff
