mate did you have to chop that grill to fit? coz i got pre 97 bumper and want same grill as that but appartently they only fit 97+. So if i cut out the bar will that grill fit in ok? wont look a mess with bonnet up will it?

yeah kinda thought that.

Just i like the style of the older bumper (cars going rally style and just think the older bumper looks more sporty)

Will have to get it c/coded then

any1 else?

As i know a guy that bought a std saxo with black plastic bumpers. There was a wee dent in the bumper, and he got it fixed (bargained it into the sale) They filled the dent,(not a new bumper) and looks like new, and it didnt get painted?

probably not, it'd look a mess, get a post 97 front with a mesh grille, much better

Hi, was thinking about cutting the grill bar with badge out of a pre 97 front bumper (have one in the shed)
But i dont really want to colour code the top half, as that means getting the arches and rear bumper top all sprayed.

So i was wondering is there any way to gut the bar out, and smooth the sides off (so there erent holes where the bar was)
??
