no u dont need a decat with an 4branch, but i have one anyway, u may aswell, as the cat will be the only restricting bit in the exhaust system

Are you better with Stainless steel or Mild Steel?

Janspeed mild steel one is ment to be really good.
Is there any difference between them??
Apart from the looks...

between mild and stainless there aint much diff performance wise, if any-as there aint between stainless exhaust systems and mild. just stainless looks better and will least for a hell of a long time! janspeed mild steel is the same design as the lexmaul aperently, according to a friend of mine with a lexmaul one, the supersprint is slightly different in design to it.......

A few people have told me that stainless ones can crack under the heat and that a mild steel one is a better option.
Not sure if there is any truth in this tho....

I havent heard of any cracking.

Something to think about tho..... think a manifold is next on my list.

they will prob crack if you wrap them in heat wrap, but not under normal cercumstances, but then u wont really need to use heat wrap. if i was buying one again id have no prob spending what i did on the supersprint one, some people say there is no point in spending money like i did etc......

JJ

Yup... i have this and its poo to fit... get an aircon enginer(pref a mate) to discharge ur aircon system then unbolt everythin that gets in ur way... then recharge aircon when done ;)

Any one got a sport 1.6 with air con? and has a replaced an mainfold?
I just wanted to know that if it hard to put one on with a air con car?
y am asking this is, there is a company that does custom mainfolds and they said, there not much space because of the EGR valve and the air con is in the way for a manifold?
has any1 had the same probs with this?

many thanks
