thats right because it shows intent to commit a crime as the dodgy spares in your boot as if you will use it. however no spare at all isnt a crime as you can get all sorts of gunka nd aerosol things that temporarily repair your flat till you get it fixed.

 Imagine trying to change the wheel on a super car like a Ferrari F50. The back wheels are something like 15 inches wide... Also what do you do on cars where the back wheels are wider than the front? Hahaha, illegal to have no spare wheel? That would be a slightly stupid law...

You cant pass your MOT with out a spare wheel simple, you need a spear wheel...

if you have taken you driven test resently they ask you how meany wheel do you cheack?

you say 5 not 4!

so you need a spare wheel...

My install is the same as this too atm, the space in the well is needd for the enclosure if you are planning to get the build as flat as poss.

And you dont need a spare for a MOT.

hi mate,

i also would prefer this type of install, looks nice, neat, tidy, easy to do and you still got room for shopping etc in the back
but its going to be hard to keep or work around the spear wheel well!

i wouldnt say they better or worse. I think you can get flat bass boxes not sure from where. I have done the flat boot buil thing . basicall build a false boot floor then mount your box abd put mdf over the top. or false floor then remove spare wheel and build legs/ or make a frame and mount your sub over the spare wheel with another piece of mdf!

Hi,

Ive seen a few boot builds that are flat against the floor of the boot, no boxes sticking up etc, are these builds better than ones with boxes showing all over the show?

Also, is it possible to get bass boxes without a slant on a side? for the use of putting them face up to get a flat effect, like this: http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/bavatar1382.jpg

But at the same time making it secure and still being able to access the spare wheel?

Any hints, tips, advise appreciated as always, :)
