Done it today what where you lot on about a big job, I have some infinity...

the rear was easy just take the white pannel off then unscrew all the screws on the speaker pannel and thats it just comes out easy... allot easyer and cheeper than putting 6X9's in the rear shelf that never sound good any way...

the rear was easyer than than the front :P even thow my rear speakers just fitted in to the back...

if you look at the inside of my car you will not see I have a upgraded system apart from the head unit, just the sub next and thats going to be fitted into a stealth box so I have still got room for @ lest one suitcase...

FRONT

REAR

Try holding you speakers in and turning the music up your blow the speaker and the sound will be fucked up this is the sam as what a sub will be doing, I know so mean ppl that there 6X9's are fucked up because they have them on the self...

SUB's work on Air thats why its best to get the right size box for that sub so it sound at its best, and if the sub is pushing the speaker well do I have to say it again...

I bet you dont let new speakers run in for 24 hours at low voloum...

I fitting the back ones this Friday I take some pictures...

and no but I'm going to get a sub soon and you cant place 6x9's on your parcal shelf with a sub in the boot as your blow the 6x9's, this Is why I'm replacing the rear speakers to give some high end sound at the rear of the car and then going to place a sub in the back to give me that base...

kev_corsa

no1 said about getting a sub as well as rear speakers

Every one and every one makes that mistake your not meant to place 6x9's on your shelf if you have a sub as your blow the speakers...

I take my time and remove all the panels that way you cant see them and there is no room wasted...

Vauxhall placed them speakers there for a reason most cars have them in the side panals...

if u really want back speakers, disconnect the standard ones and fit 6x9s with a stealth shelf, although kev is right is sounds better with comps and a sub(s), that what i had.

yeh, diddons right, it is a big job, but if u want rear speakers it isnt hard to do, just time consuming taking all the panels off.

If i were you, id stick with your new comps up front and get a nice sub and amp to compliment them and forget the rear speakers. This is what I have done in my C (although i did take my rear speakers out when I covered the whole rear end of the car in Dynamat Extreme)

you have to remove the panel across the back of the boot where is shuts, then remove all the side panels on both sides.

Is a huge job just for a couple of speakers

I have replaced the shit "Cardboard Speakers" with infinity one's in the front but I have some also for the back but how do I take the back casing off so I can get to the old one...
do I need to take of the white plactic above the back shelf...

NO I DON'T WANT THEM ON MY PARCEL SHELF (HIGH CRIME AREA).
