yeah my audison 2 channel is 2 x 200w rms on my focal comps.

the let down on my system is still the alpine mrd-m300 mono block .

tis rubbish

im well considering getting the audison LRx mono and 2 x 12" focal polyglass subs.

Amplifier effiencieny plays a major role.

Dont forget tho i got another amp putting out 2x 200wRMS for my 2 sets of comps too :lol:

im using only one old battery and running around 750w rms and i dont get ANY dimming at all anymore.

When i had a less powerful alpine amp the car was dimming all over the place, now with a more powerful audison channel, the dimming has stopped completely.

how people can survive with one battery i dont know.

My system is currently pushing only 850wRMS and when i accidentally let the yellow top in the boot discharge, when i replaced the fuse to the engine bay and took out the yellow top, the amp was getting nowhere near the juice it needed from an uprated battery in the engine bay and the cars alternator.

Its a life saver :thumbs:

a monoblock would be the only type of amp capable of pushing that amount of power, so thats what you will have to opt for.

As for power ratings, well it would be 4x300 which is 1200w RMS @ 1 Ohms :) However, i would get something with abit more power (like 1300wRMS etc) and then reduce the gains, as that will keep distortion to a minimum :)

Also make sure you get a decent amp mate, like a DLS A6 or an Orion etc, although you will be looking at 500 odd quid for the amp and a split charge system (two batterys, one up front for car, one leasure battery in back for your system) will be a must to keep the juicy flowing to the amps :)

sorry im crap at this, so a mono block amp would work? if the subs are 300watt rms wat power amp is required roughly?

4 four ohms subs connected in parallel to a 1 ohm stable amp would show a 1 ohm load.

You would struggle to connect each sub individually to the amp terminal. use two seperate distribution blocks, one for neg one for pos. Then run a set of wires to each sub :)

tbh, if you really want 3 subs, then you could bodge it by having 3 mono blocks or 2 subs share one amp and the other gets one to itself :) total bodge, but it would work :thumbs:

and how would i wire them? any help mucho appreciated as i aint got a clue!!
