I'm having the head completely re-done next month, its burning a good litre of oil per 300miles! I noticed the head gasket is weeping oil, the water header tank has no signs of oil in it so i assume one of the oil port sealing faces is no longer sealing............around the back near the inlet manifold is fine, its just where the block is slanted forward at the front.

The car had been stood for 24hours exactly just about, went to strike it up this morning at just after 5:30am and no go, just turning over! Got pissed off and got the old dear to take me to work, came home around 2:45, struck her up and she went first time! not a problem........
