needs to be serviced by scorpion every year for gaurantee to be valid! ive had it over 2 years with no servicing done!

i want a full straight thru new system from the Down pipe all the way to the backbox, so only problem will be 2.5inch bore connection to my current backbox... but my mate has his ownbusiness and has quoted me estimate of £150 for all of this, basically 3 new sections to the exaust, cat-thru pipe, silecer-thru pipe and pipe that goes over the rear beam to the backbox

all in stainless steel! sounds pretty cheap to me :) wat you think????:boggle:

i got a piper decat with a silencer in it, supose it could look like a cat lol, it sounds good and improved the throttle responce a small bit. it dont sound raspy sounds a tad louder but nothing major. problem is you have a 2.5" bore so other systems may not fit. why aint loose baffles covered on the warrentee, i had a sportex system on my astra and it was covered on that as the ywent and i got a new one put it.

my mate has 1.6 8V polo with "Scorpion" back-box and thru "Powerflow" system, sounds very nice, DEEP-RUMBLY with no raspy/farty!

so i will "Basically" have same system, current "Scorpion" back-box and a new straight thru system??
mine should sound same or even better as its 16v? it also has a much nicer/noticable induction intake sound from induction kit after 3k revs

considering what ive said, what do you guys reckon it will sound like???

Yeah I was lucky i got a sports cat through ebay for £40 although i dont know if works yet.
I'd go for the magnex or piper decat and sytem no need for grp A

yeah im thinking of just getting a nice smaller stainless steel silencer put in, its only way to keep sound nice deep and rumbly and louder i guess???:)

im also thinking of putting in a brand new stainless steel CAT as i think my one is pretty old now!!
dont really want to DE-CAT! the police are pretty chilled out in my area but i do mission journeys across london somtimes and i dont want to risk the coppers checking and giving me 3 points for it!!:o
unless i get a fake cat pipe weilded in palce to the de-cat! :!

dont remove the centre section will be raspy and unbearable on long journeys, just decat it and but another centre box will sound nice...not cheap and nasty

buy another decent centre section not powerflow shit

the middle silencer is damaged, the baffles are loose so it rattles a lot as i pull of and makes car sound very shite!!

the scorpion lifetime gaurantee wont cover the loose baffles so only choice i have is to fit a new smaller silencer or a straight thru silencer pipe:boggle:

De cat it and put an induction kit on if u havnt already!!! imo if u cut the middle silencer out ur just going to wreck a 300 quid system... plus the middle box looks nice lol...

get a de-cat with no silencer in it

got a- Cat-back stainless steel Group-A exaust system on my 1.6 Gsi... it Sounds nice and deep/rumbly but it is not loud enough!

how would sound if replaced middle-silencer with stainless steel thru-pipe?
Considering the silencer is slightly bigger compared to the backbox and quite bigger than the standard silencer???

ooops ignore that middle choice with nothing in it!
