Get yourself some custom dials from Dakota Digital or a nice rally slag Stack dash.

Yeah.....I've been advised to change the clocks first, sometimes then can play up......if that cures the problem then I'll be happy! If not then I shall have to be looking further down the line.....some people have but a new ECU in.......another lad had this problem but his was wired off the coil, he just smoothed it with a capacitor in parallel with the guage....

So a few areas to explore!?!?

Unfortunately. Revs aren't fed thru a cable like the speedo is (pre 97) Its got a sender somewhere along the lines and theres some hardware in the clocks that shows your revs. Problem may very well not lie in ur clocks but in the sensor that detects rpm

Ahhhh, I'll just get a standard set of clocks for now, see if it cures the rev-counter problem, if that doesn't then i cant be bothered to find out myself what the problem is.......looks like I'll be taking it to a garage! £££££

You could get an a set of Mk3 Astra clocks behind a Corsa dash I think - you might need to get the dremmel out though to do it...

Well I'll maybe get another set of Corsa B clocks. Can you get new facias for them that go upto 160, but I suppose you'd have to have it re-callibrated??.........

But only go to 140mph - thus not sloving the problem.

You can fibreglass in a hacked up Astra digital dash off of a GTE...

I'm needing to look for a new set of clocks for my Corsa B to cure the bouncing rev counter. (in another thread on here) My speedo stops at 140 which isn't good enough so i'm hoping to find a full set of clocks that goes upto 160mph and fingers crossed it will fix my rev counter but I'm not sure what clocks will fit......

Anyone know if digital dash is possible or other Vauxhall clocks will fit??
