If so , take the covers off where they are and see if the line up marks match, i reckon it running out of time.... i managed to do this when i changed mine :S

souds like a bad air leak spray wd40 over the engine while its running if the idle dies its drawn some in and thats your leak p.s dose it drine fine when the revs are up and also you get away with just unplugging some sensers and they will go on to a base setting i.e the colent senser

i just had a new engine put it my car. the only parts the garage kept from old engine is the

1) Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve
2)Cam shaft Sensor
3) Idle control valve

but now i've got it back the engine management light has been on all the time. and the cars misfires when i pull away or stay at a constant low speed. people must think i cant drive, when i jump the car everywhere. lol. i've had brand new bosch spark plugs in so they cant be that. also, i had my ecu light come on like a year ago (in the old engine) and took it to vauxhall, they tested and said it was the ECU then a week later the light never came on again. so presumed it fixed itself. thing is, both parts are costly and i dont wanna buy one and its the other. please help!!!
