i've now fixed the problem were the dead lock was not working and the key was hard
to get out.
this was part of the problem, this had snapped so i got a new one for £5 from vauxhall.
then had to get the lock out and then remove the pin to undo the lock remebering were averything
went, it was tricky as it has a spring behind it.
after taking it apart and all back together i had fixed it only to find when i tested it i still had the
same problem
so took it apart and looked. nothing wrong.
then found this in the bottom of the door.
it's a little cylinder next to the screw driver, this was part of the problem too.
so i put it in the little dark square part and has fixed the problem.
SORTED :)
the pics are from my phone so sorry about the quality and just thought i'd share how i sorted it.

my drivers side deadlock dont work now, the lock feels loose, the central locking works but when you lock the drivers door the key goes to the deadlock position but dont work and the key moves a little to the right and the key dont come out.
any one had this problem, gotta check it out at the weekend!
cheers
