ahhh.... thats exactly what mine does. started a few hours ago. when i'm in high revs, it turns off. when i'm stopped it comes on. but also, it feels a little judderish when i start accelerating again. and now the cam chain or something sounds bad. could this still be the er valve?

its the idle control valve sensor

Could be Lambda sensor, EGR valve, or idle air control motor. Best take it to vauxhall and get it plugged in to Tech 2!

Hi There,
My car is a 12v 1.0 2000 Corsa, and the problem is exactly this:
When I take my foot off the throttle and the revs drop, the engine management light comes on. It will go off again after a few seconds but the car then tends to hesitate or misfire.
Its the model that has no Pin 6 on the diagnostic plug so I cant use a paperclip to get the fault code. The Crak sensor has been replaced quite recently so its not that either.
Any suggestions please? Please!
