An ultrasonic cleaner is an electronic machine that generates high frequency vibrations through a liquid. The vibrations create microscopic bubbles in the liquid that form and collapse on items that are immersed in the liquid, creating a cleaning action. Ultrasonic cleaning is considered as one of the best ways to clean things

anywhere that has a cleaning bath. not entirely sure what sort of place would have one, but it's quite common for fuel injectors to be cleaned in this way, so there must be plenty of places about.

rocker cover off, cambelt off, cams out and replace then refit so your looking at a couple of hundred quid or more

you could have them ultrasonically cleaned if you can't afford the new ones.

i think the parts are around £80-£120, but you'd have to fork out labour on top of that if you weren't confident to do it yourself.

have a read up in haynes and see if you think it's a job you could do yourself.
