u cant simple d/c it and leave it like that really, it'll bring on a warning light permanently and its not really safe imho.

Although if u get a sportier wheel and wanna fit an airbag onto it, then all u have to do is d/c the battery n leave it to powerdown for bout 30 min, then unplug it.

(although at work we simply leave the battery connected and unplug them, you simple have to make sure you dont short out the socket or anything and your safe really)

id also like to know how to remove the wheel and replace for a non standard wheel. Baring in mind i have an airbag...so simply disconnecting it would suffice?

What if you have got an airbag? And is there any sports wheels with airbags? Or are gsi ones niceer than 1.4 sport ones?

Horn push out, undo nut, get a wheel puller and thats the wheel off... u then need a boss for a "sportier wheel", or fit one from a GSi or sportier version:thumbs:

Thinking of changing my shitty standard steering wheel for something a little "sportier"

how exactly do you change the steering wheel? what is needed to change to another one?

what is the standard size of it,

its a corsa B btw
