unwind the slam mushrooms a bit.
means it'll be harder to close, but it should spring the gate up past the catch in the lock.
you could also fit a spring in their somewhere, or grind off the second part of the latch.

has anyone got a guide on how to fit one to a corsa. im thinking of flushing my boot but it seems a bit dodgy fitting a solinoid kit.
can u fit a solenoid kit that will completley open the boot by itself.
or do u have to press the button while lifting the boot, just like without a smooth boot?
im just wondering because if your by yourself and want to open your boot, how u going to do it if the button is on your dash?
