The amp is just on my boot floor so plenty of air.
I'll have to set the gain cause I haven't done that yet!

make sure there is plenty of air allowed to get near the amp, maybe your playing it with the gain/volumes to high for to long

I've just installed my sub and amp but when i've got them playing something after a while the headunit gets really hot. That hot, that the cd's nearly burn my hands when I take them out.
Also the amp gets really hot but i've never had an amp before so I don't know whether they get hot or not!
Is it just cause it's a hot day or is something wrong?!
