it more then just fitting the engine in
its getting the things around it to fit, fully custom made manifolds etc etc

the engine/ car may look good at £300 but u can get a 2lt 16v for that and in the engine the 2lt 16v will cost u 10 times less to get done than the V6 would.

if u are going to buy the cav anf run the F20, you will need a F20 flywheel and clutch to match.

i kno, thats y im pissed off that he sold it so cheap. might go offer the bloke who bought it some money for it

well i'd have changed the f25 box on a v6 for an f20 box anyways... better ratio's... or so ive read.

u'd prolly pick up and f20 box for 50-100 quid and that would be top buck.

for driving around town/general driving a C20XE is the conversion u'd wanna be going for. easy and cheap enough to do.

yeh its sounds nice to be able to say u have a 2.5 V6 in your corsa but i'd imagine half the bulkhead having to be chopped out of the car and it just being very messy altogether.

and if beardy says he wouldnt do another one then it must hav e been really bad:lol: theres not alot of stuff he wont have a go at by the looks of things.

@ Beardy whats the v6 engine like?? i'm gonna get myself a Calibra in the next few months....

The weight of the V6 will not make it handle too well, and fuel consumption will be baout the same in town, why a 2.5L V6 for town driving though??

true, well we was talking bout it at work n couldnt decide which sounded better, the roar of the V6, or the whoosh sorta noise of comin onto boost. saw a MK3 astra GSi with a LET last night gettin petrol. sounded really nice (no dump valve, just wastegate chattering away)

depends what you do to the v6 i suppose, turbo is easier to get stupid power, town driving i wouldnt say is different you can drive any car normally

thats alot

which would be better for both performance and drivability in town etc

2.0 16v turbo or 2.5 V6
