The gaskets are reusable as long as the rubber is still soft. | |

yes it will be ok eck i never torque them down i just nip them with my 1/4 drive ratchett i never get any problem | |

we did mine up to 9Nm, thats what is said in my mates astra haynes thing. | |

:! £30 For a camcover gaskett i get a full top end set for that money last 1 i bought from vaux set me bak about £10+vat | |

Right i've just fitted the cover and what I did was hand tighten them then give the bolts a 1/4 - 1/2 turn with the ratchett, is this ok??? I fukin hope so as the gasket is £30 a go. | |

6lb/ft. Most torque wrenches will do that no problem. | |

Anyone know what the exact figure is and where I could buy the tool to fit the bolts??? As far as I know its 8lbft but not to sure and will I have probs finding a torque wrench to go as low as this??? |
