ya can get thick white smoke from the sump, if the gasses from the oil in the sump are gettin past the rings this can happen, check your cam cover breather pipes if they are steaming like a kettle then summit is up, did the car overheat when the gasket went origanally, could be a craked/warped head also

Had this on my rover k series lump when the head lunched itself... it does pour out, if your coolent is level and doesnt vanish then go on a run to dry it out:thumbs:

ran it a few times before filling with coolent

ill leave it for a while but if it is condensation theres shit loads as its litally dripping out of the tail pipe quite a bit

Adam is this on the fezzy?

if so, when you fitted the gasket, did you run the engine a few times to seal the gasket, or just fill the coolant & oil & leave it for a while witough running it in :boggle:

If its happening when the car has been sitting like overnight it will just be condensation thats built up in the exhaust.

the head gasket has been done so it shudnt do this??

L330wnz

if its bluey/white could be the head but if its pure white then yeah it'll be coolant system/radiator etc

L330wnz
