yup just pull it out and check the metal clips are holding the bulb tight and that the connector for the light itself is on tight.

it might not be as complicated as you think and your number plate bulb might have bad connections and is flickering on and off

Was in my local petrol station when I noticed that my number plater light was flashing a good un. No other lights were flickering or flashing.
I have got 1.0 farrad lighting audio power cap in my car but still runing on standard battery and it is a 1.4 8v. Any ideas how to get this to stop, as I thought all I need was the power cap and this would stop any lights flashing.
