Hi, I've knocked them down to 30 psi now. Thanks for all your help. When I checked them they had only been around the block once and were pretty cold. They were still reading 50 this morning when I checked them so I dont think it was that Neshol.

An alloy wheel place told me that you add 1.5psi for every inch bigger the alloy is on top of the standard rim pressures

It is recomended to be 29 psi on the front and 31 psi on the rear. But quite a few people will change these pressures about to get different handlig charecteristics. BUT, don't inflate the front tyres harder than this, becuase it can cause very unpredicatbale under steer, which has apparently led to loads of accidents recently... (Neds pumping thier front tyres hard so they can do big burnouts  )

50psi feck! Dont drive far otherwise you could have a blowout! Thats waaay to hard. I run mine 28front and 34rear for the best performance in my 1.2 16V - find it helps to introduce a good ballance of under/over steer having the back a little harder and the fronts will get a little harder as they build up heat from driving.
