The cable has nowt to do with the tyres catching m8, but the whining noise means you've probably put the cable on to tight, just adjust them to suit

after changing my handbreak cable yesterday there is a really bad whining noise coming from the back of my car

it wasn`t there before i changed the cable so what could i have of done wrong to cause this

also my tyres now chatch the arches and they never did before i changed the cable
