Doubt it mate, its gonna be hard to convince the insurance company that ure dad is the main driver of a highly modded car with an engine conversion.
But theres no harm trying i suppose

I'm doing that, but my car has been insured with Tesco for the past year or so with my Dad as the only driver, and no other drivers, so I can just add myself. If they kick up a fuss then we can say - check your records e.t.c... They can't do jack

Get some 6 x 15" et49 compomotives with either 195/45 or 195/50 rubber for better traction. The narrower 6" wheel means you get a lot better clearance than 7 x 16's etc...

Get yourself a fitting kit from Cossvaux :)

Oh and Stoney's car is a pretty nice tarmac eater...

Also any1 got any pics of motorsport/rally corsa's?

If i do build 1, its gonna be stripped out, roll cage, competition exhaust, dealersport style mudflaps, lowered 40 or 60mm, white 15 or 16"compmotives, bigmouthed <97 bumper, etc etc

Just want some inspiration/ideas

yeah was thinking it will prob be 21 with most, but will have 2 find out b4 i do anything!

Would only be insuring it third party as its prob wont b worth much. (car will be around £500, then get the engine(very cheap, then the fitting kit from pvd), suspension, exhaust, alloys all 2nd hand)

As above, (yes ive tried the search facility, but cant find a clear answer on the topic) Because ive heard many companys wont cover a conversion unless its from that car, eg biggest engine in a corsa b would be a 1.6 (as thats the biggest engine u can get in a corsa b as std)

I was thinking of getting a cheap corsa, and ive been offered a 2.0 8v engine for pennies, so though id make a rally themed corsa and use it for track days etc.

Im 19 1ncb, but prob wouldnt have it on the troad till im 20 and hopefully 2ncb (nxt april)
Please help, thanks
