the car is 99, wot is the paper clip test??

do the paperclip test if on pre 99 car or get vauxhall to plug it in and get the fault codes stored in the ECU

Basically when ive been driving on the motorway powering up to 60-70 there feels like theres a loss of power for a few seconds and the light comes on! But if i slow down the light switches off and driving retirns to normal. Im realli confused by this and have no idea why its doin this! Just hope its nothing serious and not a big job to fix!
