back pressure is important on bikes... especially 2 strokes:thumbs:

ure 1.4 16v aint that reliant on it

Back pressure is created in the exhaust system, depending on your engine, if you lower the pressure you may lose performance too. For example, on a 1.2 8v, putting in a decat will sometimes make the car hesistant, as these engines are dependant on BP.

However, most BP is created at the catalytic convertor, so unless you have a decat too, I can't see there being much of a problem. People told me I'd lose pressure with my cat back system, but if anything, car seems to have improved.

was thinkin of gettin the remus titanium racing exhaust (oval), but was told that i will loose back pressure.
1. wot does back pressure do?
2. has anyone got or seen this exhaust?
3. wots an alternative for about 135 quid?
