pump comes out of the top of the tank from under the rear seat, no need to remove the petrol at all.
No chance of sparks, just unplug the wire and pipes and unscrew the pump!

How knackered is it, if it still works, use it to get the juice out

syphon it, which aint pleasant, stick a hose pipe into ya tank, suck the petrol up the pipe into ya mouth then quickly put the hose into a bucket, the petrol coming out will create a vacum and pull the remaining petrol from the tank. i dont reccomend this though lol

My fuel pump is knackered but before I take it out I need to drain some of the petrol out. What is the best way to do it in my drive as I can't get the car anywhere else to do it?
