my gsi has been doing this on both doors,its the pins that are loose and knocking on in the bar/strap lever as u open door...
wat i did was take out the pins, use some pliers to sqeeze them as much as possible then put one layer of insulation tape around it, then pop it back in, if it dont go in u need to squeeze it a bit more :thumbs:

its been 2 months now and its fine, the insulation may wear out eventually so jus put some more on

its the check bar/strap

theres a wee pin on it and it wears

new pin :thumbs:

the one in the centre not the door hinges

pins are 90518425, unless they put mine in a different bag.

on my corsa rthe whole linkage thing had come unstuck, shitty welding after the door got smashed off coz some tdick had it open in the middle of the roasd

u can see the pin moove when it clicks. Exactly the same time so im pretty sure its this as sis's L reg LS her pins is rusted and clicks like a mo fo.

Got the part numbers myke?

i thought this was the case when i got the gsi.
bought all new hinge pins (about 45p each from vaux)
did one side (pretty easy, but you'll need someone to support the weight) and it made fek all difference.

i think it's the linkage bar that makes the clicks rather than the pins in the hinges.

Yeah, its the pin on the linkage that stops the door opening too far, replace that and problem solved.

when i open it. coming from the joins.

I think it needs a new pin? Is this usually the cause?

How much are they from vaux and can i replace it myself?
