resetting it is only usefull for clearing faultcodes etc

no point, the vauxhall ECU processes data realtime and adjusts itself accordingly.

On the Corsa i just bought from a guy hes fitted an induction kit but hasnt yet reset all the values in the ECU. I heard the easiest way is to jus disconnect the battery for an hour and itl reset them but i dont really want to lose all my radio and alarm settings. Will just removing the fuse that leads to the ECU have the same effect? thanks:o
