yeh i have had that idea i was just going to put a loop in the wire and do it up with a bolt type thing i got from b&q but i was wondering if i cd get the right cables so that i wouldnt have to do this. Also im not sure if the mot people would like it aswell.

is the cable tight when you have the handbrake up?

if not a sugestion.... with handbrake down cut the cable and puls is so that its nearly tight. then use a cable joiner to join the to pieces.

dunno what the MOT people would think but it may work.:o
