ive always used pattern parts, vauxhall ones dont last any longer than pattern part ones no matter what people say, vauxhall just rip you off for them

i got a rear brake cylinder about 3 years ago for my corsa, was a non-GM item. Never had any troubles with it.

Wheelbearings though, got them once (rear set) non-GM. Lasted 2 months. GM items lasted about 18 months!

Just ordered the bits

2 brake cylinders and 2 balljoints €63(£40) Vauxhall wanted €52(£30) for 1 balljoint:lol:

thats is a bit silly mr vauxhaul.

i remember getting a speedo cable down at vauxhaul before and there was a chap buying 1 hoodcap for a mk5 astra and they charged him €40! yer man hadnt a clue and just payed it.

is there any quailty difference in using non GM parts.

Priced balljoints in the the local motor factors and there €18 each. Vauxhaul are lookin for €52 each:rolleyes:

Surely they'd have to be made to a certain safety standard?
