As long as ya got the wiring loom and ECU from the C16XE you will have no problems

no c16 had transponder only x16 gsi's come with transponder

Early C16XE's didn't late ones did, and all X16XE's do.

Did the GSi's with the C16XE engine have a key immobiliser?
I am replacing an x14xe with a c16xe any potential problems?
