the nova will of won as it is lighter than the corsa.

If you strip out the rear seats & passenger seat, inc. carpets - you migt just be able to stay level, maybe 'just' beat them.

any engine from another corsa will go straight in, aslong as you have the ecu, wiring loom, & other bits from the other car if needed.

You are best to tell insurance about enbgine.

ok , i drive a 94 1.2 corsa, the one with the nova engine!
i had a race there wit my m8 in his 1.2 nova and he completely smoked me :lol: . so i have come to the conclusion of putting a bigger engine in, that wont stump up my insurane, or even an engine that i cud get away wit still insuring it as a 1.2... what can uz advise me on, and what engine would possibly go str8 in. i was tinkin of a nova 1.4 sri?
